The noise died out around midnight and was quiet during the night, as the hotel is tucked down a back alley and they secure the entry at night. Very helpful and friendly guys running the place who helped me call to inquire about a tour bus. Breakfast was good. Great location to walk and explore the city, and the airport metro is only 15 minutes away by foot. Remember, this is not the holiday inn. This is India and things are different here. | Wonderful. Home away from home. | We stayed in this hotel for nearly a month, they kept our luggage while we travelled out of Delhi. We spent 20 nights, our son and his wife, 7. Our son and wife joined us in the middle of the trip. We all had a flight at 5 am The manager Mr Guman suggested that we get a hotel near the airport that night since our flight was so early in the morning. He provided a solution that was the best for us even though it cost him some revenue . Mr. Guman Singh arranged for us to get two more SIM cards for son and his wife from a nearby shop. One of the staff got a power strip and box of glucose for me as I had run our of my glucose tablets. Some people have complained about hot water, we never had any problem with hot water. Sometimes it a took a few minutes to get really hot, but it was available around the clock. Pahar Ganj is a densely populated and very busy place. Streets in the area get messy in the rain. But there are restaurants, shops, chemists, and you can find whatever you need without going far. The staff are very nice and helpful, though some of them have trouble communicating in English. Mr Guman Singh would have arranged all our travel within India too, but I had made airline and train bookings for travel within India before we arrived in India. I grew up in Delhi but have not lived in India for 45 years. I speak the language but my family do not. We were foreigners but the hospitality of management and staff made us feel at home. We loved the hotel and all the staff. |

| Not a comfortable stay for a family | We booked a family room with two double beds on agoda for 3 adults and 3 children below 8 years, they gave us a four persons occupancy room which was very tiny, one bunk bed and one double bed was in the room. Double bed was smaller than standard, I’m 5 feet 11 inch and could not fit on the bed, imagine sleeping with two children and wife on that double bed. No doubt the rooms are clean,but they are way too small, the shower area was the tiniest i have ever seen in my life. | A hotel that doesn’t care | This hotel will not listen to your complaints no matter how valid they are. Currently there is a VERY loud party taking place in the downstairs lobby apparently run by the owners who refuse to turn the music down. Due to this we have absolutely no say and it’s currently 11pm with this loud music reverberating throughout the entire hotel. This is a great hotel to stay in Delhi. The location is good (near the railway, lovely area with many shops and restaurants), the room is clean and spacious but what makes it 5/5 is the incredibly helpful staff, the quality of the service … More and the numerous amenities offered (various kits available). My sim was not working (the guy selling it scammed us) but they tried to help fixing it. They also offered pick up from the airport which was great and only cost us the parking for the car. We had some issues at the airport and ran late but the driver waited for us which was immensely appreciated.

Initial assigned room lacked insulation as window was not sealed. The roadside and lobby houses were audible. Most of the sockets were either not working or I had to strategically place adapter … More to work.
My second room was MOIST! This was due to poor ventilation. Same socket issues as my initial assigned room. Storage cabinets were fragile, needs an upgrade.

No complaints. The staff in the lobby were accommodative of my requests. They provided me travel adapters on my request, changed the room when I raised the issue and gave me extra hour to checkout.
Overall, service was the only good part of the experience. It’s a decent hotel (which needs improvement) which is closer to lot of tourist destinations. -
We booked this hotel based on the good reviews. However we were extremely disappointed for a number of reasons:
1. The room had a broken door. The toilet seat was broken. The ceiling light was hanging off on the verge of dropping off! We … More weren't provided with any spoons and bottle water was not replaced.
2. There was alot of noise outside the room from 6am!!
3.We were asked to vocate our room without any notice as builders were due to commence repair works. This caused alot of inconvenience as we had to pack and unpack biting into our holiday time. We were then asked to move back to our original room the next day causing more distress.
4. We were asked to pay for tea and water we hadn't even ordered.
5. We asked for dry cleaning services and were quoted 4 different prices. When the item was returned, it hadn't been dry cleaned and was actually ruined.
6. There were alot of inconsistencies in the advice, prices and general service was very poor. We had to challenge alot and overall the time here was poor and would not recommend this hotel.
7. Location is very difficult and dangerous with poor lighting, uneven slabs and very difficult to locate. -

I can honestly say that I can't fault the hotel staff for there excellent service 👌 we were both looked after so well, as 2 single travelling … More women we felt very safe, clean hotel, food was great, service with a smile day or night, hotel manager Guman Singh arranged all our sight seeing tours with a personal taxi driver and a tour guide at an excellent price. The only criticism would be the bathrooms can do with being abit more up to date.
Be prepared to alot of congestion as u are in Central Delhi.

Stayed at Blue Pearl for 3 nights and had a good experience. Even if the furniture was quite old, the room was clean, and so were the bedsheets.
The breakfast did not have a big range of options, but the food was fresh and tasty (loved … More the parathas and the chai, in special). One day we also ordered lunch (the prices were really good), and the food was super tasty, we enjoyed a lot.
The staff was very accommodative. We would like to say a special thanks to Mr. Guman, who helped us with any request we had, helped us with booking the train tickets and also organized a nice Delhi tour, and to Saud, who not only carried our bags to the train station, but also ensured we entered the right train and we are seated on the correct seats. Overall, we felt that nothing was too much to ask here, everyone from the staff was trying to make our stay as good as possible.
The location of the hotel was also good, very close to the train station and to the main attractions in the city, especially for the ones visiting Delhi for the first time.
On the less positive note, our last night was difficult, as there were very noisy guests in the rooms next to ours, but this is not something to be put in the hotel´s account, rather on the guest´s level of education. We did not have hot water, but this is again something very common in that part of India. -
